Lieutenant Colonel M.SC. Sava Savic at Seminar: Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU

Researcher LtCol. M.SC. Sava Savic participated at Seminar: Common Security and Defence Policy of The EU – Facts and Challenges, held in Belgrade, from 18th to 19th  March 2010. The organizer of the Seminar was ISAC Fund, with support of the Swedish Armed Forces. The Goal of the Seminar was to meet members of state institutions of Republic of Serbia with experiences and actual processes in Common Security and Defence Policy of The EU. Besides participants from Ministry of Defence, representatives from Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign affairs also participated  at the Seminar. Lecturers on Seminar where well-known professors and researchers in this field and representatives of  EU institutions.



Meeting with the representatives of MoD of Norway, for the organization of the conference "Women in the security sector - the UN Resolution 1325"

In the Strategic Research Institute, on February26, 2010, was held the meeting of the Chief of the Department of Defense Studies Dr. Jovanke Šaranović and Norwegian delegation consisting: Ingjerd Kroken a representative of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, Lt. Col. Terje Haverstad military attaché of the Kingdom of Norway and Tea Maria Delvuder Asprusten Assistant Representative of the Norwegian Defence. The meeting was about the organization of the conference "Women in the security sector - the UN Resolution 1325" which will be held in co-operation of the Institute and the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway during the autumn 2010th  year.



 



Conducted empirical research "adaptation of students of the Military Academy of winter conditions polygonal training"

Researcher of the Department of Defense Studies from Strategic Research Institute - Anita Djordjevic, MA, in cooperation with Major Ljubinko Rakic from the Military Academy, conducted the empirical research on the topic of "Adaptation of students of the Military Academy to the conditions of the winter field training", on February 25, 2010.  The research was conducted within the project of the Institute, "The military profession in Serbia”. It is a continuation of empirical research titlet “Students adaptation to conditions of the summer field training” started in June 5, 2009. The respondents were students of first, second and third year of the Military Academy, of both sexes.
